Gotta catch'em all!

Yup, I've been playing some Pokemon Go. Reliving some childhood memories. Thankfully it hasn't taken over the important things, like... crafting!

I was sent this amazing package from Simon says Stamp! Stamps and dies, stencils, paper and some ink pads! I do have these inks already so I may do a give away or a gift package with them.

I was finally able to order a set of Zig clean color real brush set of 48!! Along with a precision tip bottle for my giant jar of multi medium matte.

When I started playing around with them on normal card stock, total fail, I may have well used Crayolas. But then I started to play on watercolor paper and this is when I fell in love!

I have also played around with some Prisma color Pencil blending and my Lawn Fawn Blissful Botanicals stamps. I ordered the matching does for from Lawn Fawn before it retired. They also sent me some paper and a little Love stamp!

On one of my days off, I spent taking some of the older images I've colored and turning them into cards (finally! Haha) There is a mix of papers, embossing folders and dies used.

Now to some of the newer creations. These ones I used a mix of brusho and fine tec to get these colorful backgrounds. My original idea was to use the spellbinder dies in black but I thought that didn't stand out enough.

I cut the watercolor back ground down, used a craft card stock card base, and popped up the fairy. I took the black card stock covered it in versamark then used my perfect pearl powders to make the fairy stand out.

On this card I used a silver shimmer paper from recollections as the matted background on a white card base. Instead of perfect pearls I used some ranger black glitter embossing powder. I didn't have any vellum so I backed the fairy with some wax paper, just barely showing to give some more definition from the background.
