The last month has gone by so fast and been so busy! Packing for the big move, work trips, training and now the holidays.
I will try to get back to the blog once I get moved (mid January.) Then I will do a new craft room tour in the new space
In the mean time, here is the card that I made specially for my friend - which has now been hand delivered. We both love Charlie Brown Christmas special, so this card was inspired by that. I used the LawnFawn's Deck the Halls branch and curved it on the stamp block to look like the curved tree. I punched out a red circle from card stock, covered it in versa mark and 2 layers of ultra thick embossing powder. To get the effects of the snow I used the Be Creative tape, cut my snow bank shape then covered with Glitter Ritz ultra fine white glitter. Lastly, before assembling the card I used the snowflakes and created some tone on tone patterned paper with fine clear embossing powder.
The card was finished with a sentiment from Simon says stamp. And a really sappy message inside. She loved the card.
I had also made a "card army" with Stephanie Barnards flip it dies for some coworkers. Here's a sample of them as I was choosing the image to go with each card.
There is a variety of stamps used from clearly besotted, Stamps of life, and Simon says stamp. They have been coloured with copics, prisma colour pencils and peerless water colors - and a touch of wink of Stella!
(This card is inspired by Charlie Brown. I have no official affiliation or copy right)
